Willow Barn

KENILWORTH

BARN CONVERSION

5 BEDROOMS

Willow Barn was a 200 year old uninhabitable, derelict property in the Warwickshire Green Belt. Using a team of skilled craftsmen the building was stripped back and lovingly renovated into a finished 4000 + sq ft luxury home.

There was no water or electricity supply, so this was a complete 'turnkey' operation from beginning to end.  Working with Severn Trent, Western Power, Powergen and the Environmental Agency for the bio sewage system, this was a major logistical challenge.

This project involved the specification and sourcing of to name a few:-

  • reclaimed bricks  and clay tiles

  • bespoke oak hardwood windows & doors

  • wood burners

  • lighting plans and fittings

  • sanitaryware

  • kitchen design and installation

  • handmade oak staircase

  • heating design

  • oak timber flooring

  • new utility supplies

Outside agency communications  with the local planning department, building control, architects, ecological surveys and solicitors dealing with probate - you could say this project included everything and the kitchen sink!
