We seem to be picking up work with an emphasis on detailed project co-ordination within local authority conservation areas. This calls for experience in dealing with the planning and building control departments of (in this case Stratford district council) to ensure that both the design and execution of the construction meets with exacting requirements.  Our architect is passionate about retaining architectural features but also in pushing boundaries so that a design, and its result, is authentic to its surroundings but also adds a few quirks in the design.
