COMPLETE RE-FURB & 2500SQFT EXTENSION

This project was an extension that turned into a complete refurbishment of the existing house.  2500 sq ft was added to the main house, incorporating a stunning new vaulted kitchen and dining area, complete with full width bi-fold doors and a new reception room.   Two new bedrooms, both with luxury en-suite bathrooms were added to the first floor. Underfloor heating  was installed throughout the house, along with a new pressurised hot water system. Dating back to the 17th Century in parts, it was crucial that the renovation was sympathetic to its existing surroundings.  Reclaimed bricks and roof tiles complement the existing building.

Solid oak doors and door linings are fitted throughout the house, along with bespoke cabinetry.  The interiors were sourced and specified by our team to provide an aspirational  new home for the owners.

All of the electrics were replaced, new insulation added to the original part of the house and all existing bathrooms ripped out and replaced.  The whole property was re-plastered and newly decorated.

This was a consuming project and Kimpton developments are proud to have executed a seamless extension to the main house which saw us win an award with our local Building Control.
