Roundstone

Roundstone is a late Edwardian style house within close proximity of the town centre which has not been touched in over 40 years. 

 

Our clients wanted to bring the house into the 21st century by re-configuring  it completely and their vision is to have a large open plan area conducive to modern day family living.    

 

The house has been stripped out removing all old and loose plaster, replacing old rotten joists, completely re-wiring, re-plumbing etc. Basically, the house was stripped to a shell to start again.

The site is very tight to the neighouring properties and has called for careful work to excavate for foundations and build the new extension.

​

Kimpton developments worked closely with the clients to design the new kitchen and   bathroom, along with other spatial planning.
