Fernbank

Set within the conservation area of Welford-on-Avon's historic heart Fernbank is a 200 year old cottage that has not been touched in over 50 years. This has called for a sensitive approach appreciating the history of the building and its place within the street scene.

 

Our clients wanted to bring the cottage into the 21st century by re-configuring the whole house.  

 

This has meant stripping the house back to its bare bones removing old plaster, replacing rotten beams, dealing with asbestos along with many unforeseen issues. James has gained many specialist contacts and with this project was able to deal quickly with the various problems above.

Kimpton developments worked closely with the clients to design new kitchens and bathrooms. We  have also specified internal doors, door and window furniture, along with other interior aspects.
